Important Announcement!

Letter from Father Sean

Dear friends,
Last weekend we had our first Sunday Masses in the parish hall. It will be necessary for us to use the hall instead of the church at times in the coming months because of the works.
As many of you would have noticed last weekend , we were at maximum capacity for the 11:30am Mass. If even a few more people had come we wouldn't have been able to welcome them.
There is also the health and safety concern to consider.
With the parish mission starting this coming weekend we will have even more people in attendance than usual. For this reason we have decided to schedule an extra Mass at 10am.
We can continue to have this extra Mass for the Lent and Easter season at least. I am writing to ask if you might kindly consider attending this 10am Mass rather than the 11:30am Mass , especially this coming weekend.
If as many of our regular parishioners as possible do so,this will take the pressure off the 11:30am Mass and permit us to welcome everybody safely. It will be a slightly shorter Mass with a little less singing than we normally have , but the homily etc.. will be the same.
